EV is Nothing New

Back to blog
Did you know that the first electric vehicle was developed exactly 190 years ago?

This achievement, dated 1832, is credited to Scottish inventor Robert Anderson. Although it was a very simple version, in the 1870s, electric cars became a popular topic with new inventors proposing numerous designs. The breakthrough was the invention of a lead-acid battery and commutator, which led to the development of the first DC electric car in 1871.

Even 7 years ago, we felt pioneers in this field, but the truth is that the history of electromobility is much longer and richer. Today we hope to create this latest story.
